Dealing with pack law

So this weekend I watched Alpha and Omega (is a movie supposed to be underlined?) and later I noticed a very clear message about a woman’s place conveyed through the two main couples. Kate who is an alpha has a very confident and proud attitude.  Humphrey who is an omega, is also quite confident and outspoken.  The alpha from another pack, Garth, also shares these traits.  However, Lily, an omega, is very shy, quiet, and insecure. So, this shows that men can act any way they want without regard for their place in society yet females must be aware of their place and cannot show any “macho” traits unless their place is a secured and at the very top.  This also shows how easy it is for a woman to be destabilized from their positions and how we are essentially ruled by males.  Although Lily is the pack leaders’ daughter, she cannot be outspoken or different and if she is then she is most likely to be frowned upon and removed from the pack for violating pack law, which was most likely created by males. So, basically we have to follow the rules made by men and any of our achievements rely solely upon them.
